What does karat mean?
Karat measures the fine gold in an alloy. Pure gold is described as 24 karat; lower-karat jewellery blends gold with other metals for durability, colour or cost.

| 22K / 916 | 916 | 91.67% |
| 18K / 750 | 750 | 75.0% |
| 14K / 585 | 585 | 58.5% |
| 10K / 417 | 417 | 41.7% |
Why offers differ
Melt value represents metal content at a benchmark spot price. Buyers deduct costs and margins. Collectible coins and branded jewellery may be worth more, while stones and non-gold parts should be excluded.
